Want to know how much your Emily Carr may be worth? Or your Group of Seven or Maud Lewis or Robert Bateman original? Compare it to previous sales of work from the same artist.
With that in mind, Heffel has launched a new, free price database, with access to almost three decades of Heffel’s auction results, including thousands of records of works offered through Heffel's live and online auctions. “Our goal is to help give collectors confidence in their purchases and consignments, and provide them with comprehensive data to make informed decisions,” according to the news release.
Continuously updated with information on new sales, the database allows collectors to easily access historical auction prices for free. “This dynamic platform empowers collectors to track market trends and make strategic decisions when buying or selling at auction,” the release states.
