Steven Ross Smith, arts journalist and former Banff Poet Laureate, loves manifestations of music and forests. Notable are his seven-book poetic series fluttertongue, and his recent book Glimmer: Short Fictions. He’s contributed to many art and literary magazines and has been writing, from the three most western provinces, for Galleries West since 2007. Smith now writes overlooking the Salish Sea in Victoria, BC.
