‘Tis the season, or at least it will be soon. And ‘Tis the Season is the name of this year’s holiday show, opening at the Artists at Work (YAAW) gallery.
This year, YAAW member Doug Rutherford has taken on the job of curating the exhibit. He is carefully selecting items that will make great gifts. Most of the pieces will be priced at under $200.
Whether you are looking for paintings, glassworks, textile pieces or jewelry, you’ll likely find something that calls to you at this show.
The exhibit starts with an opening reception that coincides with First Friday, a monthly self-directed art crawl that includes three downtown Whitehorse art galleries – Arts Underground, Northern Cultural Expressions Society, and Yukon Artists at Work.
