13TH ANNUAL LACOMBE ART EXHIBIT AND SALE

This juried show is a landmark on the Central Alberta cultural scene, with the works of more than 70 artists, featuring Marcia Schmidt. Artists are encouraged to download the “CALL TO ENTRY” form on the website -- before Mar 1, 2012 -- to participate in this unique opportunity to show their work. Fine food and music. Admission $4/person, 12 & Under Free. Fri 1 pm - 8 pm; Sat 11 am - 5 pm; Sun 11 am - 4 pm

The 13th annual Lacombe Art Exhibit & Sale will be held Friday, Saturday & Sunday, April, 20^th , 21^st , 22^nd , 2012 at the Lacombe Memorial Centre located at the corner of 50th Avenue & 52 Street in downtown Lacombe.

 Shows times are Friday 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Admission is $4.00 or stop into City Hall for a 2 for 1 admission postcard.

The organizing committee is excited about this year’s event which features the work of over 60 artists.  Marcia Schmidt of Westerose, has been selected as the "Featured Artist" for this exhibit and sale.  Marcia will be doing presentations throughout the show days. 

Friday evening will feature wine and cheese from 5 – 7pm, and an artistically expressive fashion show by Patricia Glanville.  Ms. Glanville’s fashion show is sponsored by Square Root Architecture in Lacombe.
