Works by sculptor Brian Rombough and guest artist Tyrrell Clarke

After a 30 year career in Toronto Brian Rombough moved to Vancouver island to connect with nature. Known for his work in The OneTree Project, Rombough is a sculptor working with natural materials. He attributes his inspiration to the “natural treasures” we are graced with here by the Juan de Fuca and Haro Straight. Rombough comes from a heritage of stone masons and carpenters which has lead to his enchantment by the strength of the natural materials. His work celebrates and prizes the natural form of the medium “only altering them when structural considerations are required.”
