AFA and The Works partner to offer free guided interpretive walking tours
to
Capital Boulevard 108 Street, Edmonton, Alberta

The AFA has partnered with The Works International Visual Arts Society to offer free guided interpretive walking tours of the Capital Boulevard Legacy Public Art Project – Canada 150 on Saturday, September 30th and Sunday, October 1st.
Each tour will include an in-depth look at five new original landmark sculptures created by Albertan artists along 108 street in downtown Edmonton between 99th and 104th avenue. Tours will feature:
- appearances by Sandra Bromley and Voyager Art & Tile (Dawn Detarando and Brian McArthur)
- includes a tour of the projects' Maquette Exhibits
- includes a tour of the Alberta Legislature's summer art exhibit entitled "The Dream We Form By Being Together" at the Borealis Gallery
Each tour will last approximately 90 minutes. Tours are wheelchair accessible.
Schedule for Saturday, September 30, featuring Sandra Bromley:
- 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
- 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
- 3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Schedule for Sunday, October 1, featuring Voyager Art & Tile (Dawn Deterando and Brian McArthur):
- 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 p.m.
- 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
- 3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
