New work by Cindie Durnie, from fantasy florals to abstract landscapes, Cindie Durnie captures the light play on petals, skies and water to create depth, contrast and interest.
Cindie was born and raised in Calgary and has been creating art all her life. Through school, Cindie took every art course available and won the Grade 10 Art Award. This inspired her to move forward into decorative painting and teaching. Winning numerous awards over the years at the Calgary Exhibition and Stampede, Heritage Park and numerous other venues. Cindie has been teaching many styles of art for nearly 30 years and is passionate for fantasy landscapes and realistic oils inspired by big sky Alberta and the glorious rocky mountains.
