An artist is totally invested in an intellectual re ection and the creative process in order to create a work. The project THE ARTIST’S (INVISIBLE) WORK will present re ections on the steps leading to the realization of artwork. In a spirit of sharing and exhibiting all the hidden facets of her work as an artist, whether they be administrative, existential or creative, Caroline Blais re ects on the value of her works in the art world and by extension, on art as an occupation.
Caroline Blais is a Montreal-based multidisciplinary artist. She studied cinema, graphic design and languages in Montreal and Lapland. Her art practice situates itself at the intersection of art and graphic design, often shown in public spaces. Her work has been presented in Canada, America and Europe, as video performances, short lms, video installation work, publications and web projects. She is inspired by everyday life, people she meets and travelling to unfamiliar places.
