As the first-ever artist in residence with the ASA, Veronica Funk will carry out an archival research project titled “Women of the West”. Veronica has been researching female artists who have worked in Alberta and will be creating a new body of work that will focus on these women and their contribution to the arts in Alberta.

Veronica will be working on-site at the ASA Art Gallery, #222, 1235 – 26 Ave. SE, Calgary, Alberta Thursday – Saturdays, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, September 7, 2024 – October 26, 2024. Visitors are encouraged to drop in to the gallery and visit with the artist!

There will be a closing reception at the end of October.
