Axenet’i Th’al (pronounced Aah-hen-neh tithul): An Immersive, Culturally Engaging Exhibition
Axenet’i Th’al or Fringe in English relays a northern Denesuline aesthetic guided by the people of Patuanak, SK. The exhibition is a product of a two year residency with the community of Patuanak, visual artist Michele Mackasey and guest artist Manuel Chantre.
The visual insight of Dene worldview and their connection to their territory can be experienced at Wanuskewin Galleries.
