Black and White and Everything In Between: A Monochrome Journey explores the monochrome as a central theme in artistic practice. This vibrant survey will be drawn almost entirely from the Gallery’s permanent collection and will feature more than 100 artworks from over 75 local, national and international artists. Including late nineteenth-century photography, calligraphy, abstract painting, sculpture and light installation, Black and White and Everything In Between takes viewers on a monochrome journey from its modern beginnings to its contemporary manifestations.
