Call for Exhibition Proposals | Deer Lake Art Gallery

Submission Deadline: January 22th, 2020 @ midnight

Exhibition Date: MARCH 2020 (TBD!) - APRIL 25, 2020

The Burnaby Arts Council are seeking emerging and professional artists for this annual event showcasing a dazzling array of light based artworks.  Works submitted can be INDOOR or OUTDOOR, recently created or a conceptual.

Luminescence V will feature up to 30 individual and group installations that utilize 2d & 3d artworks creating an illuminating experience.  The 2020 event is also the beginning of our 50th Anniversary Year of celebration!

Contact details

A current CV, bio, an artist statement

Images of your artwork uploaded to the form

Artwork details you are submitting (detailing title, size, medium, price, and thumbnail of each image)

Deadline for Submissions: MONDAY, January 22, 2020 @ MIDNIGHT.

*Please note, only online submissions will be accepted. Applicants will be notified about whether their submissions have been successful after the deadline and adjudication. Important information to note, which includes:

Due to Gallery closure starting in December 2019 and Jan/Feb 2020 there will NOT be an extension on the submission deadline

Successful candidates will be notified of participation via email by FRIDAY, JANUARY 31, 2019

Recommend stopping by the Gallery to check out the space before the submission deadline

All conceptual work must be completed, photographed and image emailed to the Gallery by February 10, 2020 at midnight.

Installation of the exhibition is scheduled for the week of February 25 - 29, 2020
