In this new body of work Chris Kuzmanovich chronicles his emotional and mental progression finding his own personal Avalon. Concurrent to the Covid pandemic Kuzmanovich turned inward, questioning what is normal versus different - themes which are universal yet simultaneously deeply personal.
Chris Kuzmanovich Is a Calgary-based creative originally from the Northwest Territories. He studied interior design at Mount Royal College and worked within this field for several years before establishing his own design firm, CVK, in 2007. His work in design naturally led to his pursuit of art when he began painting as a self-reflexive practice over fifteen years ago.
