Full Circle, a joint exhibition, features local Winnipeg artists Dave Colvin and Leon Pewarchuk who reunited for the first time since Dave Colvin graduated from high school in 1977. Leon was Dave's art teacher from 1974 to 1977.  When talking about Leon, Dave reminisced about their classroom experiences from the early days.  It is interesting what a student will recall about their teacher's teachings and persona.  For example, Dave mentioned how when they built sets for the school musical in the evening, Leon made pizza in the art room's kiln.  These unconventional experiences that Dave recalls from 50 years ago, helped to shape his artist story and his development as an artist. Dave creates scenes of unorthodox paintings, featuring a twist to every story. 

First Friday, extended hours, December 6, 11am to 9pm, both artists in attendance both days.
