' Inspiring Preservation: An Alternate Perspective '

Vancouver based, photographic artist Desirée Patterson, will communicate the narrative of humanity’s reliance on and the degradation of our environment through her lens-based series of digitally, collaged compositions. The goal of this exhibition will be to foster awareness for the importance of environmental preservation while maintaining a subjective experience for the audience. Twelve to Fifteen pieces, varying in dimensions, will be exhibited alongside didactic panels explaining the artist’s inspiration as well as sustainable resources that accompany the specific environmental challenge presented in each composition.
