Kicking off our 2017 Summer Creative Series, wherein we invite several of our pan-Canadian artists to Invermere for a friendly art demonstration, are Edmonton's Verne Busby and resident artist and Effusion owner Heather Cuell.
Verne has been putting paint to canvas and other substrates for the better part of 40 years. He not only creates his own work, both for the private and public sectors, but he is an intergral part of the graphic design firm he helped found.
He combines a wonderful sense of colour and texture that invites the viewer to engage and lose themselves within his impressionistic works.

Best known for her thick, chunky, functional and decorative cast glass art work, Heather continues to feverishly create in her studio, conjuring up a variety of new pieces for all to see. Her work is suited to smaller intimate pieces or large-scale architectual work for indoor and outdoor applications.
So, please join us as they both unveil some of their new 2017 collection.
