In honour of Father’s Day we have two exhibitions that wouldn’t have happened without collaboration between two fathers and their daughters. Curating the work for sculptor and painter George Vlismas’s Retrospective has been a labour of love for his daughter Sue Vlismas. She has put together a varied collection of his works dating back to his early paintings in Wales and Africa and including his more recent stone, wood and cast bronze masks.

For Hereditary Conversations artists Sarah Ronald and her father Dennis Ronald created a mirrored body of paintings that clearly exemplify how individual interpretations and perceptions can vary greatly even when two people have experienced something simultaneously.
