From our Collection: Glass

Complementing Bee Kingdom: Iconoclasts in Glass, this exhibition showcases wares from our glass collection – one of the strongest of its kind in Canada - and illustrates a wide range of glass-making techniques.

The exhibition is divided into five sections: Victorian art glass, early Canadian glass, Canadian glass whimseys, Altaglass and affordable glass. Featured artifacts include a variety of objects, from functional tablewares to purely decorative pieces and range from the late nineteenth to the twentieth century.
