Vancouver Island University and the VIEW Gallery are excited to host IMPRESS an exhibition of incredible works of printmaking from current and former students and faculty. Beautiful and thought provoking works in monoprint, etching, multi-plate etching, drypoint, mezzotint, silkscreen, and woodblock make up this dynamic exhibition. Printmaking professor Gregory Ball has dug deep into his personal archive to select works from VIU alumni that cover most of what is offered in the printmaking experience here at VIU. He has also selected a collection of works from current students along with a couple of large collaborative works. Also included are print works from Visual Arts faculty.
