This series was truly inspired by my family and friends.
As we make choices in our lives we are drawn to different experiences. Some of these choices make changes for the better and some take usto places where we learn more about ourselves. What remains constantis family and friends that support, encourage, celebrate and hold youclose no matter where the journey takes you.
Jessica Desmoulin is of Ojibway heritage from the Pic River First Nation in Ontario. As a child, her family moved to Alberta, where she still resides. Jessica finds inspiration from nature and from her cultural roots, often influenced the Woodland School of Art’s visual language.
