Memory Bones is a personal exploration of memory, identity and loss through symbolic imagery and found objects. Jewel Shaw uses a combination of traditional printmaking, drawing and digital media to explore concepts that relate to genetic memory and epigenetics. Her work investigates how ancestral trauma may be passed on through DNA, influencing ones lived experience and identity.
