"Les paysages avares" - Simon Morin-Plante

Les paysages avares (Misers landscape) series of paintings use concrete as base material, and show the dichotomy between sky and earth, the sky crushing the earth and the earth trying to make itself more visible and impressive. A game of opposition and duality which presents the fragility of our natural environment. An expression of both past and future of our landscapes, if man doesn’t take responsibility for the environment. 

The Opening Reception will take place on Saturday, May 3rd, 2014, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
