Beauty of Line is the first thing that come to mind. In all of Elizabeth Allen’s vast portfolio encompassing printmaking, watercolour and drawing the sensitivity is magical and deliberate. In a simple stroke she is able to emulate the character of the people, animals , still life and landscapes. Elizabeth is a huge contributor to the Calgary Art’s Community and has been a pivotal in establishing and promoting arts in Calgary and was awarded Calgary’s Immigrant of Distinction Award for the Arts in 2003.
