Rose-Aimée Bélanger is turning 100 years old, and we are celebrating all of the wonderful work she has brought this world within the last 40 years of being a professional artist.
It is with immense joy (and awe!) that we announce the birthday collection for Rose-Aimée Bélanger. This Quebec icon will be celebrating her 100th birthday next month!
Rose-Aimée was born July 4th, 1923 in Temiscaminque, QC. Shortly after graduating from Ecole Des Beaux-Arts in Montreal, Rose-Aimée put her career on hold to devote her time to being a wife and mother to 9 children. Some thirty years later, she resumed her sculpting, patiently and gradually, with great determination. To begin again in your late fifties, after a lapse of many years is rare. She has been creating stunning bronze figures since the 90s, and we are proud to say we have represented her at Canada House Gallery for 20 years!
**Please note we will be adding pieces to the birthday collection as they arrive, so please check back often for updates. This will be our largest collection to date from her, and we couldn't think of a better time!**
We hope you enjoy the birthday collection and wish Rose-Aimée a happy 100th birthday on July 4th!
