In conjunction with Vancouver Draw Down, join us at Satellite Gallery and participate in a drawing intervention directly on the Gallery walls and building architecture with Toronto-based artist Francisco-Fernando Granados. spatial profiling… is a participatory process and site-specific drawing project based on a performance by Granados. The action consists of a continuous tracing of the outline of the profile of members of the public as they move along the contours of the gallery. Drawn directly on the wall, the trace of the action forms a pattern that indicates the passing of the outermost edges of the body in time, through a process that pushes past the boundaries of the identifiable.
