Taiwanese Puppetry Festival

MOA will host its first Puppet Festival. The Lin Lui-Hsin Puppet Theatre and the Chin Fei Fen Marionette Theatre Troupe will be at the Museum to provide puppetry workshops, public and school shows. The festival will include practitioners and scholars in conversation about traditional and popular culture. As part of the Puppet Festival, MOA will bring together North West Coast First Nations artists and storytellers in workshops the visiting Taiwanese puppeteers and scholars to exchange ideas and practices with the goal of developing a collaborative project.
