"That's What She Said"

TRUCK Contemporary Art in Calgary presents:

That's What She Said

Showcasing work by Brittney Bear Hat & Jennifer Tellier (Calgary, AB).

Through weekly drawing performances artists Bear Hat and Tellier explore tensions associated with land, identity and belonging; questioning what it means to call a colonized land home. The artists will deconstruct stereotypes currently informed by appropriation, romanticism and indifference in an effort to begin a new dialogue.

Weekly performances will be scheduled on Thursdays from 5:00 - 7:00PM.

Dates: April 5 to May 31, 2013

Reception: Thursday, May 16 @ 7:00PM

Where: +15 Window Space - Epcor Centre for the Performing Arts, 205 8 Avenue SE (Second Level)

Artists will be in attendance during the closing reception. The reception and show will be open to the public. Attendance is free.
