Presentation of the “Transportation” – Contemporary Dance + Music Performance Project on Friday,September 30, 2022 from 7 pm to 9 pm. Modest reception + meeting the artists will follow the performance.
Transportation: Contemporary Dance + Music Project aims to use scenographic as well as acoustic and choreographic languages to show theintrinsic interconnectedness between humans, even when they are not in the same space. The dancers arepresenting ideas of unity and identity, moving with different improvisational tasks which are allchoreographically set up. The proposed audience involvement in the presentation uses the attributes ofHarcourt House to advantageous effect: the audience will be able to move freely throughout both art galleries,viewing either of the dancers. This performing art project has been envisaged for general public of every age andconsidered as family friendly art performance project.
