Established in 2021 by Catherine Hallam, Free Spirit Gallery & Shop is an art space showcasing local contemporary art and craft from emerging to established artists on Gabriola and across B.C.The gallery aims to provide a platform for artists to flourish and for collectors to expand their collections. They also carry a growing selection of brands of art supplies to service the high concentration of artists on the island. The gallery aims to be a space for people to come and immerse themselves in a space for creating, collecting and appreciating visual arts. It provides an LGBTQ+ friendly space. Mon to Sat 10 am - 4 pm.
