The McMichael is situated in the historic town of Kleinburg, twenty minutes north of Toronto, surrounded by 100 acres of northern landscape and hiking trails. The gallery's permanent collection consists of more than 6,500 works by historic and present-day Canadian artists, including Tom Thomson, the Group of Seven and their contemporaries, Indigenous artists and artists from the many diasporic communities. The gallery attracts over 100,000 visitors annually from all over the world. A visitor can truly experience the art of Canada at the McMichael. Thurs to Sun & holiday Mon 10 am - 5 pm.
