Founded in 1912 as one of Canada’s first civic art galleries, WAG-Qaumajuq has grown into a leading visual art museum with an international reputation. The iconic modernist building in the heart of downtown Winnipeg was joined in 2021 by Qaumajuq (the Inuit art centre) a contemporary architectural landmark that connects to the WAG building on all four levels and bridges Canada’s North and South through exhibitions, research, education, and art making. Tues to Sun 11 am - 5 pm, Fri til 9 pm.
