The Wilds brings together prints created by two biologists. Meagan Hainstock invites viewers to appreciate the striking appearance of insects such as flies, hornets and mosquitoes in woodcuts and mixed-media pieces. Her husband, Stephen Peterson, creates woodcuts and lithographs that explore how animals blend into their environment. They both learned about printmaking from Hainstock’s father, Bob.
