Nicole Liao’s exhibition, Against the Day, is composed of drawings, photographs, models and videos based on found footage of nuclear tests in outer space. This Cold War experiment created stunning atmospheric lights that resembled the Aurora Borealis, blurring the line between the natural and the artificial.
