Tyler Bright Hilton at VivianeArt
Canadian artist Tyler Bright Hilton’s third solo exhibition, A Model World, will run from May 10 to June 16 at VivianeArt in Calgary, Alta.
The exhibit will showcase Hilton’s etchings and drawings as well as his first animated short.
A Model World developed from the artist's studies into various intaglio techniques, such as etching, engraving and drypoint. Hilton’s new exhibit builds on themes of his previous work, showing glimpses of an unsettling, uncomfortable and recognizable world.
Hilton holds a master of fine arts degree from Chelsea College of Arts in London, U.K. His work is currently on view at the Venice Biennale as part of Beati Pacifici, The Disasters of War in Italy. He also recently had work included in For every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.
