The AFA announces the launch of the AFA Art House.
The AFA Art House not only offers Albertans access to search and view the AFA Art Collection, but also allows them to curate their own digital collection. To provide a bit of context, the AFA owns a massive collection of more than 8,500 works of visual art by more than 1,700 Alberta artists; they strive, through a collect, care, share policy, to give all Albertans, regardless of geography or socio-economic status, access to enjoy this incredible resource of art created through the work of talented Albertans. The AFA believes this will have tremendous applications for Alberta’s teachers and students, as they can use the AFA Art House as a resource to discover Alberta’s incredibly diverse and rich visual arts history.
Visit the AFA Art House at www.AFAarthouse.ca, curate your own personal collection and share amazing Alberta art with your friends!
