The founder of Akimbo – a Toronto-based online hub for Canadian arts information – is departing after 22 years.
Kim Fullerton is handing over the reins to Heather Kelly, of HKC Marketing, the new owner and director.
Fullerton says she is "really thrilled to pass the business on to someone as passionate about art as I am."
She noted Kelly's involvement in the Toronto cultural scene, as founder of the Bloor St. Culture Corridor, co-founder of the Global Arts & Culture Sector Meetup, and as "the mastermind" behind launch campaigns for the Ryerson Image Centre and Koerner Hall at the Royal Conservatory of Music.
Kelly says she is committed to promoting Akimbo's values of accessibility, equity and opportunity.
