Alberta Printmakers Celebrates 30 Years

Alberta Printmakers, an artist-run centre in Calgary, is celebrating its 30th anniversary by creating a special portfolio of original prints.
It has selected 25 artists to create editions of 30 hand-printed works that explore the theme of futurology.
The new works will also form the basis of an exhibition, in conjunction with past anniversary portfolios, which include work by notable artists such as D. Helen Mackie, Bill Laing, Gary Olson and Wendy Tokaryk.
The exhibition will run July 19 to Sept. 6 at Alberta Printmakers.
