Anna Eyler is the winner of this year’s Emerging Digital Artists Award at Trinity Square Video in Toronto.
Eyler’s video animation was selected by this year’s judges based on its technical execution and nuanced investigation of technology’s relationship to the natural environment.
Eyler will receive $5,000 in award money, and a spot in the organization's themed commission program in 2019.
Eyler holds a BA in religious studies and art history from Carleton University in Ottawa and a BFA from the University of Ottawa. She is an MFA candidate in sculpture and ceramics at Concordia University in Montreal.
Work by Eyler and the four finalists will be exhibited at Trinity Square Video until Oct. 13.
