The Art Gallery of Nova Scotia in Halifax is closing temporarily, starting Feb. 1, for essential and immediate maintenance on the fire suppression system in the gallery’s south building. The gallery is expected to reopen in late spring 2024. In-community and in-school programming will continue as scheduled and will include Creative Minds: Erasure Art Collective on Feb. 28 at the Halifax Central Library, as well as an artist talk with 2023 Sobey Art Award finalist and Halifax resident Seamus Gallagher in March 2024.
