Art Vancouver Goes Ahead
The Art Vancouver fair is set to return to the Vancouver Convention Centre from May 5 to May 8, after a two year hiatus due to the pandemic.
"Art Vancouver’s vision is to unite nations through art by bringing artists and galleries from across Canada and around the world to showcase fresh, contemporary work in the heart of the city’s downtown waterfront," says the Vancouver Visual Art Foundation, which was established in 2017 to organize the four-day event.
The foundation says it will welcome more than 100 artists and galleries, as well as art in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFTs). There will also be interactive activities, such as live art competitions, speakers and panels.
