Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour begins

The Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival is one of the biggest celebrations of the outdoors and film in the world.
And it’s going on the road.
The Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour will include more than 1,000 screenings of 37 films in 47 countries on every continent, including Antarctica.
This year's tour will begin Dec. 1 with screenings in Minneapolis, Minn.; North Bend, Wash.; Salmon Arm, BC and Vancouver, BC.
Many more Canadian screenings are coming up in 2024, too, including Fort McMurray on Jan. 11 and 12, 2024; Quadra Island, Jan. 13; University of Calgary, Feb. 1 to 4; Mount Royal University in Calgary, Feb. 15 to 18; the Badlands Amphitheatre in Drumheller on April 19 and 20.
New locations this year include Slovenia and Liechtenstein. In addition to the US and Canada, other confirmed stops will take place in Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
