Banff Summit on Art Making in a Digital World
The Banff Centre is hosting a three-day summit about Canadian art-making practices in a rapidly digitizing world.
The Arts, Culture and Digital Transformation Summit runs Nov. 22 to Nov. 24 and includes artists, researchers, cultural leaders and technology experts.
As part of the summit, participants will be invited to an art and virtual reality showcase.
Featured artists include Lisa Jackson’s work Biidaaban, French artist Bastien Didier and David Guez’s presentation of Projet Lévitation, Katherine Behar’s work High Hopes, and Suzanne Kite’s Better Off Alone, which the artist will present remotely.
As well, Gary James Joynes will perform Soundbursting and Milton Lim and Patrick Blenkarn will showcase Asses Masses.
The deadline to register is Nov. 5.
