BMO Commits $500,000 to Victoria Gallery Expansion

BMO has committed $500,000 to a $30-million expansion project at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria. 

With this news, the total of private and corporate donations to the project exceeds $9 million. The provincial government committed $6 million dollars last year.

The gallery announced the expansion project in 2012 and initial architectural plans were unveiled in 2015. Updated drawings, by HCMA Architecture and Design, were released in April.
