The late Vancouver artist Rodney Graham is the subject of a posthumous exhibition at Hauser and Wirth in the British countryside.
The show, conceptualized by Graham before his death last October, is titled Rodney Graham. Getting it Together in the Country, and is named after one of his experimental LPs.
The Somerset gallery says its celebration of Graham's "multifaceted creative vision" includes a series of photographic lightboxes that represent the cycles of nature.
The Four Seasons, completed between 2011 and 2013, includes a triptych that shows Graham posing in a kayak on the Seymour River near Vancouver.
The exhibition, which continues to May 8, also references other facets of his artistic practice, which included sculpture, painting, photography and music.
Graham, who is remembered by friends as a "laid-back polymath," once said: "It may be a burden to reinvent oneself again and again, but it makes things more interesting."
