The FENCE Calgary 2018
ONE Properties is hosting The Fence, a large-scale travelling outdoor photography show this month in Calgary along the 750-foot fence around the Curtis Block at Macleod Trail, 12th Avenue SW and 13th Avenue SW.
Originally produced by United Photo Industries in New York, The Fence first came to Calgary last year through a collaboration with the Exposure Photography Festival.
Eight artists from Western Canada are included.
Keith Korsgaard, a Calgary photographer featured in the exhibit, says the project encourages diversity in the local art scene.
“Being involved in a project like this in itself is an achievement for any photographer," he said. "During the submission process, my work was vetted by incredible photographers who work at National Geographic, New York Times and Adobe. This speaks to the quality of art present around the Curtis Block development.”
