Nominations are now open for the 2018 annual Rozsa Award for Excellence in Arts Management. The deadline for nominations is May 11, 2018 at 4 p.m. Eligibility criteria and nomination forms are available at www.rozsafoundation.org.
The award celebrates outstanding arts administrators and provides additional professional development benefits to recipients and their organizations.
Past recipients include David Chantler, of Trickster Theatre; Eva Cairns, of Edmonton’s Catalyst Theatre; Rose Brow, former managing director of Quest Theatre; Stephen McHolm, former artistic director of Honens; and Bob McPhee, former general director and CEO of the Calgary Opera.
The award celebration is Oct. 15, 2018.
The award was created in 2002 to honour the philanthropic efforts of Ted and Lola Rozsa. The foundation has distributed more than $1 million dollars in benefits to award recipients and their organizations across Alberta.
