Carolyn Holmes

Carolyn Holmes has been hired as the new executive director of the Nanaimo Art Gallery.

Holmes was the executive director at Two Rivers Gallery in Prince George, B.C., where she developed outreach programs and a maker space for vulnerable youth.

Holmes earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Queen's University in Kingston, Ont., and a Masters of Museum Studies from the University of Toronto. She has worked at galleries across Ontario, including the Art Gallery of Ontario and the McMichael Canadian Art Collection.
