cSpace Projects Announces New General Manager

Deeter Schurig has been promoted to general manager of cSPACE King Edward in Calgary in the wake of the departure of founding president and CEO Reid Henry, who left the organization in January to join his family in New Jersey.

Under Henry’s leadership, cSPACE transformed the historic King Edward school site into an award-winning creative hub. The newly-created general manager's role will support the organization as it seeks to expand its impact in the city.

Schurig, who has a background in architecture and theatre, has worked at cSPACE for seven years. 

The cSPACE board has suspended its search for a new CEO as it assesses the organization’s needs.
