Douglas Haynes
Galleries West is saddened to report the passing on February 9, 2016 of Edmonton-based artist Douglas Haynes. From his personal website we are reminded that he was born in Regina in 1936; studied at what is now the Alberta College of Art & Design from 1954 to 1958; and taught at the University of Alberta, Department of Art and Design from 1970 to 1995.
His work is represented in many private, corporate and public art collections. He participated in several major group exhibitions and had many solo shows with representing art dealers and in public institutions throughout his career.
