Eastside Culture Crawl's On in Vancouver
The Eastside Culture Crawl, a visual art, design and craft festival that's become a Vancouver institution after 23 years, takes place Nov. 14 to Nov. 17.
The Crawl sees some 500 artists and artisans in 66 buildings across the east side of the city open their studios to the public. There are also art demos, workshops, installations and screenings.
The four-day festival is free and lets visitors wander through home, garage and warehouse studios in the area bounded by Columbia Street, 1st Avenue, Victoria Drive and the waterfront.
There's an impressive array of work by painters, sculptors, potters, photographers, glassblowers, furniture designers and more – all of them happy to answer questions.
The Crawl runs Nov. 14 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Nov. 15 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Nov. 16 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Nov. 17 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
